Before joining FleetMaster I had been a consultant for almost 9 years and was in need of a change. I set out to find a team that shares the same values as me and that works closely together on a shared long term goal. I wanted to be challenged by a job in which I could grow both as a software engineer and as a person.
What struck me during the hiring process at FleetMaster is that it wasn't just my technical skills that mattered, but also how well I would fit within the team. During multiple interviews with different people from the organization I was not only screened as a developer, but also as a potential team member. Your personality, mentality and motivation are just as highly valued here as your technical know-how.
Soon after I started at FleetMaster, I realized that I had found what I was looking for. Working as a full-stack developer within one of our Scrum teams offers a high level of variety in the day-to-day job. We're motivated to be more than just a developer by taking part in the analysis of complex business cases and technical challenges. Everyone's opinion is taken into account on how we can continue evolving as a company and as a product. Even in these digital times there are plenty of fun team activities bringing us together as one big team.
